McHappy Day 2011- Get Involved!

Welcome to the fifth year of Scouts Australia’s partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) to raise funds for seriously ill children and their families by participating in McHappy Day!
Last year the day raised over $2.3 million for RMHC, and we also had a record number of Scouts take part in raising funds. Many Groups provided feedback about last year’s experience and we are working with RMHC and McDonald's to make Scouts Australia’s involvement in McHappy Day 2011 bigger and better than ever.
This year is a special year at RMHC as it is the 20th Anniversary for McHappy Day. The target set by RMHC for 2011 is $3 million, which they are hoping Scouts will in some capacity assist them in achieving!
This year we are once again asking Scout Groups to assist young McDonald’s staff in collecting money for RMHC in their local McDonald’s on McHappy Day. However, if you don’t live near a McDonald’s, why not conduct your own fundraising event to raise money for RMHC!
