Payment Options

The following payment methods are available when making pruchases from the online store: Credit Card, Cheque or Money Order. 

Credit Card

We accept American Express, Visa and Mastercard.  You can opt to enter your Credit Card details when prompted during the Checking Out process or alternatively, you can pay over the phone with a Customer Service Representative on FREECALL Australia 1800 811 312 by selecting the phone option, to complete your order. When does my credit card get charged?

Cheque / Money Order

Please send your cheque or money order along with a printed copy of your order.  Orders will not be shipped until your payment is received by The Scouts Shop.

Please Note:

  • Unfortunately, at this time, our online service is unable to support the use or Gift Cards or Rebate Vouchers as form of payment.  If you would like to pay with either of these it would be best to contact a Customer Representative on the phone number listed above.
  • All prices are displayed in Australian dollars


Changing Payment Methods

You can change the payment method for an order you've already placed, provided the order has not yet entered the shipping process. Just visit the relevant order summary in My Account and under Shipping Information click the Edit button next to Payment Method.

Adding a Credit Card

You can add a new card or account the next time you place an order through the Shopping Bag. Or, if you prefer to use Express Checkout, you can add a credit card through My Account using the option to "View or change your Express Checkout settings."

Deleting a Credit Card

If you don't have any open orders and simply want to delete a credit card or update information for an existing card, go to My Account and click the "Edit credit card" link.

Once you've signed in using the e-mail address and password linked with your account, you'll be able to edit or delete any credit card you have on file. Doing so will not, however, update payment information for orders you have already placed. To do that, visit the relevant order summary in My Account.


Payment Declines

If you receive a message that we were unable to authorize or charge your  credit card, please check with the issuing bank for your card. Credit cards may be declined for a variety of reasons, such as a technical error during processing, and we do not have access to further information.

We will try charging the same card again if you do not submit updated information. Typically, we attempt to charge a credit card daily for one week before canceling your order. To update your credit card details or submit a different payment method, login and visit My Account and select the link to "Edit credit card".


Tax Information

Online purchases shipping to an address within Australia will incur the Goods and Service Tax (GST).  This is inclusive in all prices specified.

Online purchases shipping to an address outside Australia are exempt from the GST.  The subsequent reduction in price of items is applied during the Checking Out process.

Online prices are quoted in AUD and NZD due to store locations in Australia and New Zealand.
