Placing My First Order With The Scouts Shop
Shopping with The Scouts Shop is easy. To place your first order, follow the steps below.
- Find what you want
- Add the item/s to your Shopping Bag
- Proceed to the Checkout
Find what you want
Navigating the Scouts Shop is easy. You can search for products via the horizontal or vertical navigation bar, or simply enter a key word (e.g. ‘badge') in the search engine, located to the right of the horizontal navigation bar.
Add the item/s to your Shopping Bag
Found what you are after? Click on the product to find out more about it. Within the product you can view the enlarged image of the product as well as the product description. This is also where you can view the colours and sizes (or other variables) available in that product.
Want to order a product? Simply select the size (or other variables) you require, then select the ‘Add To Bag' button. A little pop-up window will appear, notifying you that your bag addition was successful.
From here, you have two options...continue shopping or proceed to the checkout.
Proceed to the Checkout
Checkout is a four-step process. These steps are:
- Shopping Bag
- Shipping & Billing
- Review & Payment
- Confirmation
You can view your progression through the process by taking note of the horizontal bar located at the top of the page above ‘Your Shopping Bag'. Where you currently sit within the process is highlighted in pink.
1. Shopping Bag
Here you can review the details of the items you have and amend your order if necessary. It is important to review your Shopping Bag before proceeding to the next step to ensure you have chosen the correct products, but also, the correct variables of products (size, colour etc...)
2. Shipping & Billing
When you have reviewed your Shopping Bag and are satisfied, calculate your shipping costs by entering your country and postcode (if applicable) in the fields provided. Select "Calculate".
You will be asked to choose your preferred shipping option - Regular or Express Post, to provide your email address, and to provide your Snowgum Club membership number (if applicable).
If you are taking advantage of a special offer or discount, enter your coupon code in the field provided.
3. Review & Payment
Here you can review your Shopping Bag and your Delivery Details, ensuring all details are correct.
If you need to amend your Shopping Bag, you can return to this step of the process by selecting the Shopping Bag tab in the top Navigation Bar.
If you need to amend your Address Details, click on edit. This will take you back to the Shipping & Billing page. When you are satisfied, select your preferred payment option.
4. Confirmation
If paying by credit card: Upon successfully completing the order your payment will be processed and you will be taken to a new page. Print your Invoice. The invoice produced will appear on a separate Browser page. This is a web-generated invoice and is your record of your online order. It is your reference should you have any enquires. A Scouts Shop Invoice will be forwarded with your parcel/s. Please take note of the stated email address on your invoice. This web-generated invoice is sent as a confirmation email to your stated email address to notify you of our receipt of your order.
If paying by phone, cheque & money order: Print your Invoice. The invoice produced will appear on a separate Browser page. This is a web-generated invoice and is your record of your online order. It is your reference should you have any enquires.
If you are paying by phone, you will need to quote your order number to the Customer Service Representative to ensure speedy service. This is located on your invoice to the right. Phone FREECALL Australia 1800 811 312 (manned 9am - 5:30pm Mon-Fri AEST) to make your payment.

At the bottom of the Confirmation page, you have the ability to enter a password. This password will allow you to access your Customer Account through the Customer Account login. The login is located in the Shopping Bag facility in the top right hand corner of the Website or here. It will also allow you to specify a previous Shipping Address during the Checking Out process as a return online purchaser.
